Marion G. Coleman
Marion G. Coleman (nee West) 84, of Lorain, Ohio died on Tuesday, July
12, 2005, at Amherst Manor Nursing Home in Amherst, OH, following a long
illness.
Mrs. Coleman was born on January 10, 1921, in Lorain, OH, living here
most of her life. She graduated from Lorain High School. She was a member of
the former First United Methodist Church, now known as Cornerstone United
Methodist Church, and a member of Lakeland Women's Club.
She had been employed in the credit department of Ted Jacob's Clothing
Store for several years before its closing. She was most recently a home
maker.
Mrs. Coleman was an avid golfer; golfing in several leagues.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by her daughter, Cathy Miller of Lorain, 2
grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jay W. Coleman in 1985,
daughter Kaye Janka in 1971, and her parents Frances and Ruth (nee Grundy)
West.

1124 West 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Friday, July 15, 2005, from 10:00 am
to 11:30 am with the funeral service following at 11:30 am, with Rev. Dale
Warrick pastor of Cornerstone United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst
Twp., OH.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The American
Heart Association, 1689 East 115th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44106.
