Evelyn B (nee Adams) Steadman, 88 of Lorain died on Wednesday, May 4,
2005, at Amherst Manor Nursing Home in Amherst, OH following a long illness.
Mrs. Steadman was born on August 12, 1916, in Meyersdale, PA and moved
to Lorain in 1949. She is a 1935 graduate of Hyndman High School. She was a
member of the First Baptist Church of Vermilion.
She is survived by her friend and caregiver Oral Shobert of Vermilion,
OH.
Mrs. Steadman is preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Steadman
on June 26, 1987, son Richard Lee Steadman on April 29, 1941, parents James
O and Edna Kate (nee Gaumer) Adams, brother James O Adams Jr..
Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals,
1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Monday, May 9, 2005, from 10:00 until
funeral time at 11:00 am with Pastor Donald Resecker, past or of the First
Baptist Church, officiating.
Evelyn B Steadman will be buried at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery
in Amherst Twp., OH.
