Neil F. Elgar, 72 of Lorain died Sunday, November 6, 2005, at Community
Health Partners & Surgical Center in Lorain following a brief illness.
Mr. Elgar was born in Lorain on May 22, 1933. He lifelong resident of
Lorain. He is a US Army Veteran of the 101st Airborne Division stationed in
Germany from 1953-1955. He was retired from US Steel as an inspector with
33 years service.
He is survived by a daughter: Deborah Weiland of Bay Village, OH, son:
David Elgar of Sylvania, OH one grandson, sister: Connie Peters of Lorain,
OH, and brother: Herb Elgar of Vermilion, OH.
Mr. Elgar was preceded in death by his wife Elsie on July 23, 1998, and his
parents Homer & Minnie (nee McCormick) Elgar.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 9, 2005, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Also
friends may call on Thursday 10:30 AM until funeral time at 11:30 AM in
Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street,
Lorain, OH 44052. The Reverend Dennis Stylski will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, OH.
