Walter E. "Bud" Dulaney
Walter E. "Bud" Dulaney, 73 of
Lorain died on Tuesday, August 30, 2005, at Autumn Aegis Retirement Center
in Lorain, OH following a long illness.
Mr. Dulaney was born on July 29, 1932, in Point Marvin, PA. He grew up
in Carmichael, PA and moved to Lorain permanently in 1965. He was a member
of the New Apostolic Church in Lorain.
He was a US Army veteran. He retired as a security officer with
Downtown Detective Agency in Cleveland in 1981 after 10 years service.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Dulaney is survived by his wife Janet D. (nee Waldorf) Dulaney to
whom he was married on August 15, 1964, daughter, Mary Opal Vickers of
Lorain, 4 grandchildren, brother John Edward Dulaney of Pittsburgh, PA,
sisters Mary Lou Greenlee of Pittsburgh, PA, and Ruth Ann St. Mary of
Caledonia, MN.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fred A. and Mary Opal (nee
Simmons) Dulaney, and sister Genevieve Moninger.
Friends may call at Schwartz Spence Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals,
1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Thursday, September 1, 2005, from 2-4 PM.
Additionally, friends may call Thursday evening from 6 until funeral time at
7:00 PM in the New Apostolic Church, 3929 Leavitt Road, Lorain.
Interment services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 2, 2005, in
the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst Township with full military
honors provided jointly by the VFW Post 451 and the American Legion Post 30.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the New
Apostolic Church, 3929 Leavitt Road, Lorain, Ohio 44053.
