Emma Muniga    

     Emma Muniga, 95, (nee Deptula) of Lorain passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center In Lorain following a lengthy illness.

     Mrs. Muniga was born in Lorain on October 4, 1916, the daughter of the late Teofil and Jennie (nee Nejman) Deptula. A 1934 graduate of Lorain High, she was a secretary and most recently a homemaker.

     She was a member of the Polish Club's Drill Team and collected Lorain High School's yearbooks from 1900-1950.

     Mrs. Muniga is survived by a sister Dolores Mitzel of Olmsted Falls.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Muniga in 1984, a daughter Deanna VanMeter in 1989 and a sister Virginia Deptula..

     Friends may call on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 11:00 am until services at noon in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. The Rev. Dr. Bradley J Donahue, pastor of the Christian Temple, officiating.

     Entombment in Calvary Cemetery Lorain will be private.
