Mary Ellen and I taught together at Larkmoor School. She was so much fun to
work with. The children loved when she brought her guitar to school and
played it for us.
I will always remember her wonderful caring personality.

I was sadden to learn of the passing of Mary Ellen. She and I were best
friends in junior high those many years ago. Although we lost touch over
the years, I will never forget the good times we shared and playing in our
group, the "High Tides" at the Palace Theatre.
My deepest sympathy to you.

Such a sudden unexpected event certainly is heartbreaking for you and your
family Dan. Your sister was a beautiful, accomplished woman who impacted so
many lives. She gave back to the community a legacy of education for so many
students. Those people carry a bit of your sister on forever. They were
lucky to have her as their teacher.
From you Dan, I heard the lovely woman she was and how much she meant to
you, your mother and your son. I am really sorry for your loss. I pray for
God to ease your families pain in this time of mourning. I am sure she is at
the Lord's right hand right now. God Bless you all and rest in peace Mary
Ellen.

BUTTERFLIES FROM HEAVEN
by: Linda Ann Henry
When we lose our loved ones they never die
For I know once heaven takes their souls
The Dear Lord leaves a little of them here
To turn into beautiful butterflies
So they can be near our hearts
Blessed are those who can see the beauty
Of the life which has gone to what is "God's Art"
When we look for the angels
They will send us Jesus' love
I saw a butterfly today, my last prayer I gave away
Heaven is more than souls of our loved ones
When a father, mother, a brother, sister or a child dies
Their hearts live in those who have loved them
Every grain of sand, every sunrise and sunset
All the good things we know and love
They all go to Jesus for Him to protect
As a gift, The Lord, lets us have a glimpse of those we love
For a brief moment in time, for a short while
A butterfly is seen at our window, sent from heaven
Then we know, all will be well with those we love.
