Eveleyn F. Ragnoni
    

     Evelyn R. Ragnoni, 91, (nee Firestone) of Lorain paassed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at her home following a long illness.

 

     Mrs. Ragnoni was born in Alliance on September 28, 1920, the daughter of the late Francis and Florence (nee Greenwald) Firestone. She was a graduate of Lorain High School in the Class of 1938-A.

    

     She was a longtime member of the former First United Methodist Church and a member of the Hannah Circle. She was also a member of the Marine Corp League Auxillary.

    

     Mrs. Ragnoni retired in the mid-1970's as a custodian for the former First United Methodist Church after more than 20 years service. She owned and operated the Firestone Restaurant in Lorain for many years and was a clerk at the Krieges Drug Store.

    

     She enjoyed bingo, trips to Las Vegas, baking and especially spending time with her family,

    

     Mrs. Ragnoni is survived by her daughter, Sandra L (Ray) McGinnis, of Lorain, her grandchildren: Kathy (Bob) Chesnick, Lori (James Conkle) Beecher, Ray (Tammy) McGinnis, Jr, Mark McGinnis, great grandchildren Brock (Rose) Koon, Brandi Chesnick, Brandon (Heaven) McGinnis, Brittany Beecher, Whitney, Johanna, Dakota McGinnis, Mark McGinnis, Matthew McGinnis, Marlania McGinnis, Joseph Horinek, Charles Horinek, William Horinek, Jr. and great great grandchildren Damyin Koon, Hayden McGinnis, Mason McGinnis, Airest McGinnis and Lola McGinnis., a brother Carl (Billie) Firestone of Vermilion, a sister Audrey (Art) Stephenson of Florda.

    

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Leroy Lanning, her second husband Victor Ragnoni in 1989, grandchild Jodi Horinek, and brothers Richard Firestone and Kenneth Firestone.

    

     Friends may call on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

    

     Graveside Services will be held at the Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Road, Avon on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Paula R. Marbury, pastor of the Cornerstone United Methodist Church, officiating.

    

     The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Research, 38440 Chester Road, Avon, Ohio 44011 or Susan B. Komen Foundation, .26210 Emery Road, Suite 307, Cleveland, OH 44128 in her memory.
