Billy Ray Putman

     Billy R. Putman, 62, of Mansfield passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at his home following a brief illness.

     Billy was born in Logan, WV on November 20, 1949, a son of the late Thomas C. and Etta A (nee Kelly) Putman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed watchimg t.v games shows and comedies ecspecially.

     He had been employed as a asphalt truck driver with Hammett Asphalt Paving Co.  

     Billy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jeannie D. (Jones)Putman of Buffalo, WV, daughters, Donna Clark, Rose Ann Putman, both of Tampa, Florida; Vundva (fiancee Andy Rowe) Putman, Valerie Ann (Paul) Fugett both of Mansfield, a son, Billy R. (Diana) Putman, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters, Ruth Ann (Gerald) Cline, Louise (Ralph) Bond, brothers Alvie (Mary) Putman, all of Mansfield, and Tom (Kay) Putman of Lucas.

     In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter Melissa Rodriguez on Oct. 20, 2010.

     Friends may call on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 6:00 pm until services at 8:00 pm. at the Werner Gompf Funeral Home, 1106 Park Ave East, Mansfield with Rev. Wayne Castle, officiating.

     Memorial contributions may be left, in his memory, in leiu of flowers for the family at the funeral home.
