
Everett A. Woolford
Everett A. "Ed" Woolford, Jr, 60, of Lorain passed away on Sunday, June 20,
2010 at the New Life Hospice Center at St. Joseph following a brief illness.
Mr. Woolford was born in Lorain on November 21, 1949, the son of the
late Everett A Woolford, Sr. and Elizabeth A. "Betty" Woolford (nee Tudich)
who survives.
He was a 1967 graduate of Lorain Admiral King and a U.S. Air Force
veteran obtaining the rank of Sergeant in the Vietnam War.
He worked as a police sergeant in the Avon Police Department in Avon,
Ohio with 22 years service.
Mr. Woolford was a lifetime member of the VFW, Post 451. He enjoyed
traveling.
In addition to his mother, He is survived by a daughter Dana L.
Woolford of Lorain, a sister Diane M. "Dee" Marsico of Elyria, and a nephew
Dan M. Marsico of Willowick, Ohio.
Graveside services will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National
Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 @ 12:30 pm
with full military honors by the Cemetery Honor Guard.
The Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals is handling the
arrangements.
