Max Husar

 

     Max Husar, 86, of Lorain passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland following a short illness.


     Mr. Husar was born in Gutenstein, Slovenia on June 16, 1923, the son of the late Max and Rosa Husar.

 


     He was a member of St. Mary Mother of God Church in Lorain.


     Mr. Husar was a serviceman at Sears & Roebuck in Lorain and Elyria for 27 years retiring in 1983.


     He enjoyed working with his hands as the consummate handyman, woodworking, cooking and baking, gardening, playing and listening to music and spending time with his family.


     Mr. Husar is survived by his loving and devoted wife Ann (nee Majtan) Husar, daughter Irene N Husar, son Norm M Husar, granddaughters, Melissa A. and Vanessa L Nalepka, Great Granddaughters Meredith and Krissa Nalepka, Great Grandson Jimmy Nalepka, sisters Rosi Wald and Deli Wajheda and a number of nieces and nephews.


     Friends may call Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Mother of God Church, 8th and Reid, Lorain Ohio with Rev. Daniel O. Divis, pastor, officiating.


     Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Amherst Township, OH.
