Carolina A. Baumert

     Carolina A. Baumert, 73 (nee McCauley), passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Community Health Partners Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a long illness.


     Mrs. Baumert was born in Dant, KY on October 20, 1936, the daughter of the late Francis D. and Mary J. (nee Blanton) McCauley. She attended Providence High School in Clarksville, IN and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Lorain.


     She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, taking weekend trips to gambling resorts, watching her favorite football team the Pittsburgh Steelers, and loved country music. Most of all, she treasured her two dogs, Hannah and Samantha.  


     Mrs. Baumert is survived by her husband
Gene E. Baumert, Sr, daughters Rita J. (Donald) Drum, Kimberly J. (Chuck) Camera all of Lorain, sons Daniel S. (Beth) Baumert of Temperance, MI, Gene E (Linda) Baumert, Jr. of Huber Hts, grandchildren Rachel A. Drum, Emily A. Drum, Sophia A. Drum, Paul W.E. (Maria) Baumert, Vinnie C. Camera, Mario J. Camera, Gene E. Baumert, III, Deanna M. Baumert, Benjamin R. Baumert, Joseph M. Baumert, Lauren M. Baumert, Danica R. Baumert, great grandson Oliver T.J. Baumert, brother T.Gerald  McCauley of Lanesville, IN, sisters Mary L. Reinig of Louisville, KY, M. Grace McClure, of Jeffersontown, KY, M. Rita Goss of Lanesville, IN, M. Emily McCauley of  Louisville, KY,  Regina C.  Arnett of Louisville and Patricia A. Watkins of New Albany, IN.


     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Rev. Charles B. McCauley and Joseph E. McCauley.

 
     A Memorial Mass celebrating Carolina’s life will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1305 E. Erie Ave., Lorain, 44052 at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 with Rev. Joseph West, pastor, officiating.


     Burial will be private.

 

     The Family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Adoration Chapel, St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1305 E. Erie Ave., Lorain, Ohio  44052.
