To Jacki & Family:

I may not have known your grandfather as well as others may have, but I did know him. And what I knew of him was that he was a sweet, sweet caring man who loved his family with all his heart. Everytime I saw him he made me want to smile till my cheeks hurt! What a good person he was! He will be missed in this world.

Love,
Bethany

Dear Carolyn, Kathy, Janet, Ellie, Danny, & Matt--

We are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We are so very sad. He was a wonderful, wonderful man with a great sense of humor and a boundless love for his family. We enjoyed so much the times we spent with him and Carolyn in Cleveland. We especially appreciated the trip the two of you made to our home here in Virginia several years for the annual Member-Guest golf tournament hereabouts. Joe and Warren didn't win, but they had more fun than those who did.

Joe never took himself seriously, but he took life very seriously, and that's yet another measure of the man. What a guy. What a great and wonderful guy.

We will miss him terribly, and we will think of him often. He was just terrific.

With love--

Dorothy & Warren
