Paul Paghi
Paul Paghi, 83 of Lorain passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at
Community Health Partener's Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a
brief illness.
Mr. Paghi was born in Lorain on January 5, 1926, the son of the late
Daniel and Mary (nee Maireen) Paghi.
He served in the U.S. Army during WW II and reeived the Good Conduct
Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, Army Occupational
Medal and the World War II Victory Ribbon.
Mr. Paghi retired as a maintenance repairman from B.F. Goodrich in
Avon.
He was a participant of the Honor Flight in May 2008, enjoyed fishing
and was an avid gardener
Mr. Paghi is survived by his wife Ruth (nee Wauthier) Paghi, daughters:
Pamela S. (Larry) Bacchi of Churchville, PA, Cynthia L (Carlos) Lopez of
Cleveland, 3 grandchildren, a brother David C Paghi of Vermilion and many
nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Mary
Passy, brothers George Ciupaska and Dan Paghi.
A family gathering is being planned for a later date.

Lorain is handling the arrangements.
