Marilyn Torres Majcher

     Marilyn Torres Majcher, 58, (nee Hall) passed away early Wednesday morning, May 20, 2009 at Community Health Partners Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a brief illness.

     Mrs. Majcher was born in Lorain on May 31, 1950, the daughter of  Elmer J and Mallie (nee Hall) Hall. She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel Lorain. She was a homemaker.

     She is survived by her daughter Susan (Jerry) Alberts of Dover, Mary L (David) Cortes of Lorain, sons Juan D (Jessica) Torres, Jr. of Grand Prairie, TX., Francisco M. (Meghan) Torres, Robert G Hall both of Lorain, 12 grandchildren, her father and step mother Elmer J. and Dorothy Hall of Lorain, her mother and step father Robert and Mallie Smith of Avon Lake, sisters  Shirlie Garcia of Irving, TX., Janice Walker of Lorain, brother  Jack (Kathy) Hall of Avon and several nieces and nephews.

     Mrs. Majcher was preceded in death by a sister Kathleen Maldonado.

      Friends may call on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

      Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 8:45 am in the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Ave. Lorain with Father James P. Schmitz as celebrant.

     Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

     The family suggest that memorials may be made to the Marilyn Torres Majcher Memorial Fund at any First Merit Bank.
