Carl A. King
Carl A. King, 70, of Lorain died early Friday morning, April 3, 2009 at the
New Life Hospice Center at St. Joseph in Lorain following a long illness.
Mr. King was born in Sciotoville, Ohio on July 31, 1938, the son of the
late Burbage and Olive (nee Boggs) King. He had lived in the Lorain area
since 1950.
He was a graduate of Clearview High School and held a culinary arts
degree. He served in the U.S. Marines.
He was a retired auto transporter at Tri County Kia in Sheffield Lake,
Ohio.
His survivors include Jacquelyn Chalfant, Helen Resor, Janet Powell,
David King, Terry King, Thomas King, Natalie King and several other
relatives
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Betty Welsh,
Linda Moore and Glenn King.
Friends may call Monday, April 6, 2009 from 10:00 AM until funeral
services at 11:00 AM in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For
Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio. The Rev. Carson Fraley, pastor
of the North Lake Missionary Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, OH.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to New Life
Hospice, C/O Community Health Partners Foundation 3700 Kolbe Road Lorain, OH
44053-9905.

I worked with Carl at Tri-County Cars. He was such a funny man! He had many
a joke that he would come in and tell us! He would not think twice about
helping someone if they needed help! He will always remain a part of the
Tri-County family! He will truly be missed!Carl, may you rest in peace!
