Virginia E. Kempton

     Virginia E. Kempton,  62, (nee Block) of Lorain died on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at her home unexpectedly.

     Mrs. Kempton was born in Milan, IN on September 9, 1947, the daughter of the late Walter E. and Ruby J ( nee Neal) Block. She was a homemaker.  She enjoyed reading and writing stories.

     She is survived by her husband, Hurley Kempton, Jr., daughters Rebecca E. Kempton of Cleveland, Victoria E. Kempton, Rachel L. (Charles) Rodriguez both of Lorain, grandchildren Spencer A. Cox, Justin A. Reyes, Sarah J. Kempton,  Amanda G. Reyes, Megan R. Rodriguez, great grandsons Tyler C. Welsing, Jordan Welsing and several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Nicholas C. Rodriguez and brothers Allen W. Block and Walter Block, III.

      Friends may call Wednesday, October 14, 2009 from  4-7 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain followed by funeral services at 7:00 pm.

     Burial will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
