Uncle Joe was such a hero to me. I will miss him tremendously. He was
like a father to me over the years. I have always admired him and have
been grateful for his love and support of me over the years. He bought
me my first baseball glove and taught me how to use it. He has touched
me in soooo many ways. When my father died in 1994 Uncle Joe took my
brother, Ron, and me outside and told us "Since your dad is now dead I
want you to look to me as standing in for him. I want to be there for
you!" I shared with him recently that he was a father figure for me for
many years before my dad died. Uncle Joe never was afraid to share his
love and hugs. I only hope that I can be the kind of father to my five
children that he has been to his children and to me and Ron. THANK YOU,
UNCLE JOE. I will miss you but I know that you are living with Jesus
and God in his kingdom!
Aunt Helen, Dave and Cliff, if I can be there for you in any way I would
be proud to do that for you.
Dale
