Blanche Flignor

     Blanche Flignor, passed away peacefully with family at her bedside.

 

     Blanche was born on June 10, 1919 in Cleveland Ohio to Max and Minnie Kaplan. She just celebrated her 90th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years,  Morris. She is survived by her son Kel and his wife Marilyn and by her daughters,  Carole Golechen and her husband Sheldon and Toby Kleinman.

 

     She was "Nana" to 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren,

 

     Blanche spent her life raising her family and helping her husband in his business.

 

     She was active in many organizations and gave of herself and her time freely.

 

     She touched many lives and will be missed. 

 

     Private family services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009.

 

     The Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain handled the arrangements.
