Dwayne T. Coates

     Dwayne T. Coates, 46,  of Denver CO formerly of Lorain died at his  home in Colorado on March 28, 2009 following a brief illness.

     Mr. Coates was born in Oberlin, Ohio on January 19, 1963. He was a graduate of Marion L. Steele High School class of 1981 and then attended Bowling Green University.  As a youngster, Mr. Coates attended the Grace Baptist Church in Lorain.

     He enjoyed amusement parks, and animals. especially his cat "Tiggers."

     Mr. Coates is survived by his mother and stepfather  Shirley M. (nee Wallace) & Christopher Miller of Burkesville, KY, his father and stepmother Robert W. & Janice L. Coates of Lorain, sister Jennifer H. Coates of Lorain, brothers Bryan J. Coates of Amherst, Bradley R Coates of Ashburn, VA., Robby A Coates of Mundelein, IL., his grandmother Evelyn Coates of Elyria and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by two infant sisters, his grandparents Walter H. Coates, Andrew J. and Alta Wallace.

     A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Grace Baptist Church, 719 Root Road, Lorain with Rev. Jay Roller, pastor, officiating.

     Burial will be private.

     Arrangements are being handled by the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorian, Ohio  44052.
