Miss Welder was born in Sykesville, PA on April 29, 1928, the daughter of the late Peter and Ella (nee Pierce) Welder. Miss Welder has lived in the Lorain area since 1988 and at Oak Hills for the last 15 years. 

 

She was a member of Peace Community Church in Oberlin. She enjoyed being the greeter at church. She was dearly loved by all the members of her church.

 

She is survived by a sister Virginia Welder of  Niagara Falls, New York and a brother Walter (Janet) Welder of Elyria.
 
Friends may call on Wednesday, May 21 from 10:00 AM until funeral time at 11:00 AM in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain with Revs. Steve and Mary Hammond, co-pastors of her church, officiating.

 

Burial will be in the  Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Amherst Township, OH.
