Tommie L. Walker

     Tommie L. Walker, 67, of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at his home unexpectedly.

     Mr. Walker was born in Memphis, TN on March 13, 1941, the son of the late Tommie and Ollie Mae (nee McNeal) Walker.

     He was a retired line assembly worker at Ford Motor-Lorain with 18 years service. He retired in 1986.

     He enjoyed fishing, hunting, yard work, his dogs, shooting pool, and especially his family and friends.

     He is survived by his wife of 29 years Janice (nee Hall)  Walker, daughters Ursula Walker-Wilkes of Chester, SC, Jaycee L. Hall of Lorain, Peggy J Marrero of Irving, TX, Danicka Ransom of Kississimee, FL, sons Kenny Walker of Memphis, TN, Tommie Walker of Memphis, TN, Anthony Geiger of Lorain, Donta L Walker of Elyria, several grandchildren, sisters Sally Durham of Memphis, TN, Ann Walker of Memphis, TN, brothers James McNeal of Los Angeles, CA., Elvin McNeal of Los Angeles, CA., Richard Walker of Memphis, TN., Johnnie Walker of Memphis, TN and many nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by a son TaRue Smith in 1972.

     Friends may call Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

     Funeral Services will be Monday, June 9, 2008 in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. 

     Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery Lorain, OH.
