Raynette D. Smith

 

    Raynette D. Smith,  83 (nee Ault) died Wednesday morning, January 30,  2008 at Community Health Partners Regional Medical Center in Lorain following along illness.

     Mrs. Smith was born in Lorain, OH on January 12, 1925, the daughter of the late Merle S. and Helen M. (Foley) Ault and was a life long resident. She was a graduate of Lorain High School, Class 1943 A.

     She was a  homemaker that enjoyed swimming and playing bridge. 

     Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters Andrea (Robert) Azzariti of Lorain, Lorraine (Tom) Flagg of Cuyahoga Falls, son  Jeffrey (Betty Coats) Smith of Atlanta, GA. 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a brother Gerald ( Susan) Ault of Bozeman, Montana.

     She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas R. Smith in 1970.

     Friends may call on Friday, February 1, 2008 1:00 PM until funeral time at 2:00 PM in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.  Rev. James Ols, pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church will officiate. 

     The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made for the Rose Garden at Lakeview Park, c/o Lorain County Metro Parks, 12882 Diagonal Rd., LaGrange, Ohio 44050.
