William D. Powers
William D. Powers, Jr. 49 of Lorain passed away on Wednesday, February 6,
2008 at the Lake Pointe Nursing Center in Lorain following a long illness.
Mr. Powers was born in Williamson, WV on October 28, 1958, the son of
the late William D Powers.
He was a graduate of Vermilion High School and a US Army veteran.
Mr. Powers is survived by his mother Joan E. (nee Howell) Powers, a
sister Virginia L Powers of Ft. Myers, FL and 2 nieces and a nephew.
Preceding him in death, in addition, to his father is one brother
Michael.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM in
Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio.
Schwartz, Spence, Boyer and Cool Home For Funerals is handling the
arrangements.

Dear Ginny,
I was saddened to read of Donnie's passing in the paper. Although I
haven't seen him in a good many years, he comes to mind often when the good
old days of V.O.L and our youth comes up. Dana(Keller)and I were just
reminiscing about everyone when we got together at Christmas time. It's been
so long I wasn't even aware he was ill. I remember him as one of the good
guys and a very talented artist. Your family is in our thoughts. God Bless.
