Eleanor E. Pietch
Eleanor E. Pietch, 84 (nee Reid) of Lorain died peacefully, Thursday,
February 14, 2008 at Wesleyan Village.
Mrs. Pietch was born in Lorain, OH on August 18, 1923, the daughter of
the late Alexander and Elizabeth (nee Bulaze) Czesrigi. She was a graduate
of Lorain High School.
She was a active member of St. John United Church of Christ in Lorain.
She especially loved her activities with the Sunday School program and
teaching Sunday School classes.
Mrs. Pietch was a retired draftsperson at former Lorain Products with
more than 20 years of service.
She was a member and past matron of Eastern Star Queen City Chapter 66.
She enjoyed traveling with Elderhostel and volunteered with both the Lorain
County MetroParks and Community Health Partners Hospital.
Mrs. Pietch is survived by son Richard (Sherry) Pietch of Lakewood,
Allan Pietch of Lorain, grandchildren Matt Pietch, Joanna Sherry, Amy Perez,
Allison Pietch, Joshua Taylor, Nicole Ackroyd, 7 great grandchildren,
brother Raymond Reid of Vermilion and many other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl T. Pietch in 1987 and a
daughter Dr. Eleanor E Pietch in 1991.
Friends may call Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 3-5 PM. in the
Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street,
Lorain.
Funeral Services will be Monday, February 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St.
John United Church of Christ, 715 Reid Ave., Lorain, OH 44052 with Rev.
Philip Kunz, pastor, officiating.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the St.
John's United Church of Christ Sunday School Fund, 715 Reid Ave., Lorain,
Ohio 44052.
