 Leona L. Nixon   

     Leona L. Nixon, 67, (nee Hostutler) of Lorain died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at her home following a brief illness.

     Mrs. Nixon was born in  Pine Grove, WV on October 27, 1940, the daughter of the late Harry and Genverie (Hostutler). She was a homemaker.

     She was a retired cleaning matron for the  Lorain City Schools. She retired on Feb. 1, 2006 following 19 years service. 

     Mrs. Nixon is survived by her husband Larry E. Nixon, her daughters Darlene Brown of Reader, WV,  Marsha Nixon of Lorain, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

     Graveside Services will be Wednesday, April 9, 2008 in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst Township at 11:00 AM.

     The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to New Life Hospice, C/O Community Health Partners Foundation 3700 Kolbe Road Lorain, OH 44053-9905.
