Frieda Leibowitz

     Frieda Leibowitz, 90, (nee Greenwald) of Las Vegas formerly of Lorain passed away on Monday evening, January 21, 2008 at her home in Las Vegas following a brief illness.

     Mrs. Leibowitz was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 2, 1918 to the late Morris and Ida Greenwald.

     She was a member of AGUDATH B'Nai Israel in Lorain. She was a  homemaker

     The loving mother of  Marilyn Zeidner of Avon Lake, Dennis Leibowitz of Rowayton, CN., Alan ( Rose) Leibowitz of Sherman Oaks, CA. She was the caring and devoted grandmother of Julia Leibowitz, Catherine Leibowitz, Adam Leibowitz, Elizabeth Zeidner, Lisa Zeidner and Evan Leibowitz.

     She was preceded in death by her husband Irving Leibowitz in 1979.

      Funeral Services will be at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 25th,  with Chaplain Ande Teeple officiating.

     Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.

 
     The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to City Of Hope National Hospital, 1500 E. Duarte Road, Duarte, CA, 91010-3000 or Genesis House, P.O. Box 718, Lorain, Ohio  44052.
