Norma E. Foulk

 

     Norma E. Foulk, 81 (nee Darvas) of Olmsted Falls, formerly of Lorain passed away on Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Riverview Pointe Care Center in Olmsted Falls following a lengthy illness.

     Mrs. Foulk was born in Lorain, OH on January 11, 1927, the daughter of the late Emri and Mari (nee Sziszok) Darvas.

     She was a graduate of Lorain High School, Class of 1945 A. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Lorain. 

 

    Mrs. Foulk is survived by her daughters Hallie Foulk Nuske of Olmsted Falls and Jill Foulk Wilkes of Georgetown, TX, a grandson Kyle D. Nuske of Olmsted Falls, a sister Dorothy Pullin of Amherst, nieces Mildred Yangula, Genevieve Kohart, Cathy Francis, Patricia Falish, Carla MacCartney and nephews James "Bud" Darvas and Richard Foulk.

      She was preceded in death by her husband William R. Foulk in 2004, sisters Elizabeth Chesnick, Mary Kuhn, Margaret Milas, brothers Stephen Darvas, James Darvas, Andrew Darvas and nephews Ronald Milas, William Kuhn and Dennis Pullin.   

     A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, Ohio.

 

     Arrangements are entrusted to the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio  44052.

Hopefully Jill will remember me - I grew up down the street from you on Highland Park. Your Mother was a wonderful lady who for many years would chat with me if I went past the house and she was outside. Usually on the front porch or out watering the lawn. I still live in the house I grew up in and no matter who lives in your old home, it's still referred to by my brother and I as "Foulk's House"!

My symapthies to you and your families. I know her suffering is over and she is in a much better place. I lost my Mother almost 7 years ago so I understand the loss, no matter the circumstances.
