As a teenager, I loved going to the Engelhard'ts--the long winding driveway, the comfortable and welcoming not-fussy home, the dogs and Amy's sisters (all so much more grown-up and sophisticated than me at that akward teen stage)--but what I especially loved was talking to Mrs. Engelhardt. She made me feel like I was one of the family and that was her gift. I wish I could thank her for that now. I guess I will thank Amy instead--Ame, thanks for sharing your wonderful Mom with me during that time. I have fond memories of our times together. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Love,
Joy

Hello Engelhardts:  I'm so sorry to hear that Mrs. Engelhardt has died.  I have such fond memories of her. Next to my Mom, my best childhood memories were at your house eating Weiss's chicken noodle soup and Congo bars after a day of sledding or playing in the woods.  Your mom was always there in the kitchen and if she wasn't there, she was at Slutzker's buying her groceries.  I know you all have many wonderful memories to keep you company!
Patty, We will call you and all get together!
