Robert and John,
I was so sorry to hear that Aunt Lydia had passed away. Please accept my
sincerest condolences. It's been so many years since we have seen or
talked to each other, that I'm not sure you remember your cousins from
South Texas. I am the daughter of your Aunt Lucy. My youngest sister was
named Lydia after your mom. I am sure that your mom was Welcomed into her
eternal home not only by Uncle Red, but by my mom Lucy and Uncle Lupe. The
3 Gonzalez's are finally all together again. I am also going to extend
condolences on behalf of my father, your Uncle Ruben. He is in the
hospital in Houston. He has been undergoing chemo and went for his monthly
followup and they decided to hospitalize him when his check-ups showed a
mild infection in his lungs. I will call him and give him the funeral home
phone # and maybe he will give you a call. Once again my deepest sympathy
and may God Bless all of you. Your cousin from Brownsville, Texas Loraine
Garcia Knoch.

Dear Cousins Rick & John:
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your Mom. She has
now rejoined your Dad and my Mom and Uncle Lupe in Heaven and they are
probably having a great time together again.
They grew up as orphans in tough times; I cannot imagine what it must have
been like to go through what they did. But they did go through it and
became great spouses and parents. they provided well for us and gaving us
a loving environment for us to flourish in. They loved each other very
much because they were the only immediate family they had left.
If you haven't heard from my Dad it is because he is in Houston attending
to some medical issues he has. Please accept my condolences on his behalf
as well.
I hope someday we'll cross paths; till then, take care and may God Bless
you.
Your cousin Ruben
