Raymond E.
Super, 86 of Elyria died early Tuesday morning, July 24, 2007 in Grace
Hospital in Amherst following a long illness.
Mr. Super was born in Lorain, OH on June 3, 1921. He lived all his life
in the Lorain, Amherst, Elyria area.
He graduated from Lorain High School in 1938. He was a US Army veteran
serving with the Red Ball Express, during WW II. He was a member of the St.
Andrews Episcopal Church in Elyria.
Mr. Super was a retired clerk with the US Steel Company in Lorain.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret I. (nee Greene) Super
of Elyria, son Gary R. Super of Elyria, granddaughter Tammy Burkhammer-Sauer
of Elyria, grandson Raymond G. Super of Lorain, 4 great granddaughters,
sisters; Emily Guzik of Cleveland and Eleanor Hudak of Amherst.
Mr. Super was preceded in death by a great granddaughter Ariel Super,
his parents Frank E and Mary (nee Millie) Super and a sister Helen Fry.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst, OH,
at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 26, 2007 with Rev. Nancy Roth, associate
pastor of Christ Episcopal Church in Oberlin, officiating.
Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street,
Lorain is handling the arrangements.
