Catherine McRoberts   

     Catherine McRoberts, 80 of Lorain died at her home in Lorain on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, following a long illness.

 

     Mrs. McRoberts was born in Glasgow, Scotland on March 16, 1927, moving to Lorain in 1946. She was a  homemaker. She was one of the original members of Canadian Legion Drill Team in Lorain.  She enjoyed playing bingo and watching TV.

 

     She is survived by daughters Catherine Konzelman of Lorain, Robin Tompkins of Arizona, 5 grandchildren, one great grandchild, brothers Richard Murdock of Toronto, Canada and James Murdock living in England.

 

     Mrs. McRoberts was preceded in death by her husband John A. McRoberts in 1997, her parents and two sisters.

 

     There will be no public visitation and services are private.

 

     Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals is handling the arrangements.

 

     The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
