Anibal Lopez

Anibal Lopez, 48 of Lorain passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at his home following a brief illness.

Mr. Lopez was born on Feb. 16, 1959 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. He had been employed on the assembly line at the Lorain Ford Motor Corp.

He was a member of the Scared Heart Chapel in Lorain. He enjoyed auto mechanics and was an avid pool player. He especially enjoyed spending time with his great nephews.

He is survived by a son, Anibal Lopez, Jr. of Lorain, his mother Irba (nee Borrero) Lopez of Lorain, brothers Wilfredo Lopez of Milwaukee, WI, Samuel Lopez of Brooklyn, NY sisters Minerva Lopez of Melbourne, Florida, Carmen M. Perez, Luz E. Carrero both of Lorain, , 8 great nephews and his longtime companion Carmen (nee Solis) Ortiz of Lorain.

He was preceded in death by his father Augustin Lopez in 1998, and brothers Augustin Lopez, Jr, Edwin Lopez and William Lopez.

Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5^th Street, Lorain on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 11:00 AM until funeral time at 1:00 PM.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
