To Bob and his family, Although we only knew Virginia 5 or so years, the
memories are incredible. From fish stories, "bummin" with her Daughter, to
all the laughter and conversation at the picnic table. She will be
missed.

My greatest condolences to the Jaycox family in the loss of one very great
lady.
I remember how nice Virginia was, and her love of family, and the love of
the great outdoors.
So I know, as you all do, if there is a Lake in heaven, and I am sure there
are, Virginia will be out riding the waves.
My deepest sympathy, and I will keep you all in my prayers.

Dear Carol and family,
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. It has always been
so evident how important your family is to you, and we know what a special
relationship you and your mom had. She obviously was a great lady because
she raised such a wonderful daughter.
Our prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.

Have not kept close contact with the Jaycox family like I would have
preferred. Even though, I think of your family all the time all these years
that have passed us by. Its almost like we were meant to chart different
courses in life, or could it be cause you live so far away your family lives
on West Erie Av in Lorain and I live on 7th St in Lorain? Carol if I seen
you on the street, would not know you, last time was about 10 years old and
you were a baby and Bobby and I were making plans to stay single and go up
to Alaska when we grew up, plans didn't work out so well. Always remember
the snack's Virginia use to make and the tricks she would play, boat rides
too. The good thing in life is Our Creator's promises us a second life.
Won't be able to come to the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers are with
you all.
Sincerely
John Claude Hovey

September 18, 2007 I was just asking the ladies at work, have they seen
Virginia. I get home and my husband just happened to buy a paper, and I saw
Virginia's obituary. I just want to tell the family that Virginia was a
very sweet and kind person. I had the pleasure of meeting her at Community
Health Partners were I work as a registrar. Mr. Jaycox and your family are
in my thoughts and in my prayers. May God Bless you and may you have comfort
and peace.
Mrs. Jaycox will be missed.

Carol-
I just wanted to send you a note to express my deepest sympathy. I am sorry
I could not stop last night in person, but it was Brandon's 8th
Birthday...besides he had a lot of homework and he had to get prepared for
School Picture Day today. I wish I could have been there for you...and of
course, I am at work today.
We talked before...I know how close you and your Mother were...I had the
same closeness with both my Mom and Dad and I cannot tell you that it gets
any easier as time goes on...they will be forever missed...but you must
learn to live through their memory and treasure all the happy times that you
shared...and through that closeness that you had with your Mom...you will
make the relationship even stronger with your daughter.
Please accept my deepest sympathy...I do feel for you!
Take care,
Jean Maxwell

Mr Jaycox, Bobby and Carol, and your families,
I was unaware of Mrs. Jaycox' passing until Bob Sr. wrote me at Christmas.
I was, and am devastated as I'm sure everyone is. My deepest condolences to
all of you. The world has suffered a great loss. All of us grew up
together and the Jaycox family was my childhood. Bobby and Carol are like
brother and sister to me, and Bob, you and Virgina are like my other
parents. I learned a lot about growing up from you all. Virginia, ("Mrs.
J") is a wonderful woman, confidant, mother, teacher, and the list could go
on. I remember so many laughs and great times. I remember no bad times at
all because there were none. I know she hasn't left us entirely and she
will always be there watching over you and everyone she knew. Although there
is a great sadness in her passing, there is a happiness in knowing she is in
heaven watching over us all, a task that she did so well here on earth. My
prayers are with you and your family. I'm very sorry that I have not kept
in touch, and wish I could have been there to deliver my respects in
person.
