Vivian L. Frick
Vivian L. Frick, 83 (nee Hecker) of Avon Lake, formerly of Lorain died early
Thursday morning, November 8, 2007 at the Main Street Care Center in Avon
Lake following a long illness.
Mrs. Frick was born in Lorain on October 25, 1924 and was a life long
resident. She was a graduate of Lorain High School Class of 1942 B and the
Oberlin Business College.
She had
been employed in the print shop of the National Tube in Lorain, prior to her
marriage. She was a member of the Lakeland Women's Club, 38 Year
Cosmopolitan Club, First Ladies Golf Club, Lakeland Ladies Golf League and
was a former assistant girl scout leader. She had also volunteered with
Community Health Partners.
Mrs. Frick is survived by her husband Charles E. Frick, to whom she was
married on May 4, 1946, a daughter Pamela F. Hansen of Englewood, Colorado,
son Kenneth C. Frick of Grafton, grandsons Timothy Hansen of Denver
Colorado, Daniel Frick of Grafton and a granddaughter Jill Hansen of Denver,
Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents William F and Odelia (nee
Barta) Hecker.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 2:30 PM
in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street,
Lorain, Ohio 44052 with Rev. Jimmy Madsen, co-pastor of the First
Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Amherst
Township at a later date.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the
