Corrine
A. Easterwood
Corrine A. Easterwood, 88, (nee Druckenmiller) of Avon Lake, formerly of
Lorain died on Friday, December 28, 2007 at her home following a long
illness.
Mrs. Easterwood was born in Fremont, Ohio on June 10, 1919. She was a
member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain and was a devoted
choir member. She was a member of the Young Women's Christian Association,
Order of Eastern Star, and the United Commercial Travelers .
She enjoyed singing, fishing, camping, gardening, biking and walking.
She was employed as a professional housekeeper.
Mrs. Easterwood is survived by a daughter Patricia A Turon of North
Olmsted, 3 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, sisters: Majorie
Guffey of Bellevue, Grace Zoeller of Fostoria, brothers Amos Druckenmiller,
Jack Druckenmiller both of Fremont, and several nieces and nephws.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry E. Easterwood on
December 29, 1984 and her parents Carl C and Mabel (Beckman) Druckenmiller.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 2, 2008 from 10:00 AM until funeral
time at 11:00 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 603 Washington
Ave., Lorain, OH, with Rev. Jimmy Madsen, co-pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Amherst Township,
OH.
Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street,
Lorain is handling the arrangements.

Dear Marge,
Mom and I are so sorry to hear about the death of your sister, Corrine. Our
thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
We miss you, you and John were such wonderful neighbors.
I remember Corrine from the beauty shop, she was such an energetic and busy
lady! You both were nice to have as customers and friends.
