Mrs.
L. Jeanne DeNardi, 83 (nee Ego) of Westlake formerly of Lorain died
Saturday, July 28, 2007 in the RaeAnn Nursing Home in Westlake following a
long illness.
Mrs. DeNardi was born in Lorain, OH on January 4, 1924. She was a
graduate of Lorain High School. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing
from the Francis Paine Boulton School Of Nursing in Cleveland.
She worked her entire nursing career with the St. Joseph Hospital in
Lorain. She is a member of the First Congregational United Church Of Christ.
Mrs. DeNardi collected teapots, enjoyed traveling and playing bridge.
She was a socialite that especially enjoyed entertaining colleagues of her
husband, Dr. Joseph M. DeNardi and other members of the medical community.
She is survived by her sons Mark DeNardi of Westlake, Harold DeNardi of
Coronado, CA, stepson Joseph M. DeNardi of Medina, OH, seven grandchildren
and 5 great grandchildren.
Mrs. DeNardi was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Joseph M. DeNardi
in 1991, daughter Kimberly , DeNardi in 2006, her parents Albert and Grace
(nee Montgomery) Ego and a brother James Ego.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 10:00 AM until
funeral time at 11:00 AM in Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For
Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, with Rev. Carl Richter, senior
pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Amherst Township,
OH.
