"When at last I say good-bye,
Don't let your tears keep falling,
For when my time has come,
I"ll hear my Savior sweetly calling,
and as He takes my hand,
All pain and cares will disappear,
and He will gently whisper,
"Welcome home, "I'm glad your here.
May you find comfort in knowing
Gus is with God..... resting in
perfect peace beyond all sorrow.
As I was growing up and whenever our families were together at the Saxon
club. Even as a little girl, Gus always had a big bright smile and a
hearty handshake for everyone. He will surely be missed by all.

GUS WAS ONE OF MY DAD'S BEST FRIEND. AS A LITTLE GIRL AND GOING TO THE SAXON
CLUB ALL THE TIME, THE BINDERS WERE ALWAYS THERE WITH THEIR FAMILIES. GUS
WAS A GOOD MAN, NEVER HAD ANYTHING BAD TO SAY. HE WAS ALWAYS SMILING AND A
GOOD CHRISTIAN. MY DAD ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT HIM AND THE GOOD TIMES THEY HAD
DOWN AT THE BOWLING ALLEY AT THE SAXON CLUB. IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE MILDRED
AND HIM WERE MARRIED 75 YEARS. WOW. THAT IS A LONG TIME. GOD BLESS GUS, NOW
HE IS IN HEAVEN WITH OUR FATHER.
