  Kent Arthrell    

     Kent Arthrell, 87 of Lorain died following a long illness at the New Life Hospice Center at St. Joseph on Monday, Jan. 15, 2007.

     Mr. Arthrell was born in Elyria, OH on February 2, 1919, and has been a resident of Lorain for the past 83 years. He was a graduate of Clearview High School. He was a veteran of the US Army during WW II serving in the Pacific Theater. He was retired.

     He is survived by his wife Kathryn (nee Burk) Arthrell, sons Robert Arthrell of Euclid,  Kent V. Arthrell of Valley City, one grandson and a brother Lee Arthwell of Lorain.

     He was preceded in death by his parents George and Lillie (nee Woodings) Arthwell, sister  Dorothy Dolbear and a brother George Arthrell.

     There was no funeral home visitation and the services were private.

     Burial was in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Amherst Township, OH.

     The Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain handled the arrangements.
