John Szabo John Szabo, 90 of Lorain died Tuesday evening Feb 21, 2006 at his home unexpectedly.
Mr. Szabo was born in Hungary on January 31, 1916. He was a veteran of
the Hungarian Army during World War II. He moved to Lorain in 1959. He
became a US citizen on May 7, 1959.
He had been employed by several automobile dealerships in and around
Lorain. He retired in 1980 as an auto body repairman. He was a member of
the St. Ladislaus Church in Lorain.
Mr. Szabo enjoyed gardening and watching sporting events on TV, especially
wrestling.
He is survived by his wife of Elsie (nee Nagy) Szabo to whom he was
married in 1959, a step daughter: Dianne Harp of Elyria, OH, two
granddaughters and two great grandsons.
Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to New Life
Hospice, c/o Community Health Partner's Foundation, 3700 Kolbe Road,
Lorain, OH 44053.
