In 1955 at Washington Avenue
School, Mrs. Nuhn was my teacher. In my album of photos there is a picture
of the grocery store in our classroom that she set up to teach us how to
count change. I am proud to be the shopper in that picture. Everytime I
see the picture memories of Mrs. Nuhn make me smile. Her gentleness and
caring spirit are but a few of my memories. She is truly one of my favorite
teachers. Thank you for sharing her with me and each student whose life she
touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
