Helen M.
Karnik
Helen M. (nee Manyak) Karnik, 93 of Lorain passed away on Thursday, April
27, 2006 at New Life Hospice
Center at St. Joseph in Lorain following a brief illness.
Mrs. Karnik was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 9, 1912. She was a
homemaker.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Lorain, Golden
Agers, Grandmother's Club and RSVP. (Retired Senior Volunteer Program)
Mrs. Karnik enjoyed playing pinochle, cooking, her volunteer work and
especially her great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter Mary Pecynski Felska of Marblehead, OH,
son, with whom she made her home, James A. Karnik of Lorain, OH, 2
grandsons, and 4 great grandsons.
Mrs. Karnik was preceded in death by her first husband Stanley E.
Pecynski in 1946, her second husband James Karnik in 1976 and her parents
Louis and Mary (nee Tizedas) Manyak.
Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For
Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio on Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
Funeral Services will be Monday, May 1, 2006, at 11:00 AM in Boyer &
Cool Home For Funerals. Rev. Darlene Robinson, pastor of Faith United
Methodist Church will officiate.
