Martha A. Jarvis-Jones
Martha A. Jarvis-Jones, 75 (nee Jarvis) of Lorain died Friday, March 24,
2006 at University Hospital Cleveland following a brief illness.
Ms. Jarvis-Jones was born in Lorain, OH on February 6, 1931, and was a
lifelong resident, She was a retired cook having worked for Heilman's
Restaurant, Ranch House Restaurant and the Head Start.
She prided herself in being the family matriarch and taking care of the
entire family. She enjoyed being a Mom and she loved animals.
Ms. Jarvis-Jones is survived by her
twin children Jennifer A. Jarvis of Lorain, Ohio, Jeff W. Jarvis of
Lorain, OH. one grandson, a long-time companion Jr. Jones, her sister Rev.
Sheila M. Kane of Riverside, CA one nephew, two nieces and one great niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford R. and Minnie M.
(nee Morgan) Jarvis and her sister Carol Ceol..
Friends may call Monday, March 27, 2006, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. at
Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street,
Lorain, OH.
Funeral Services at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March
28th, 2006 with Rev. Sheila M. Kane, her sister, officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Amherst Township,
OH.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made In Memory of
Martha Jarvis-Jones-Blake Jarvis Scholarship Fund at any Lorain National
Bank.
