Edmund McGregor Bennett

    Edmund McGregor Bennett,  70 of Lorain died unexpectedly at his home on March 4, 2006.

    Mr. Bennett was born in Glasgow, Scotland on April 25, 1935.

    He was a veteran of the 3rd Battalion Airbourne of the English Army.  He was a retired plasterer. He had also worked on an oil platform and as a security guard.

    He is survived by a son Alan Bennett of Chessington Surry, England.

    Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years,  Ellen Bennett and his parents James and Agnes (nee Scott) McGregor.

    There will be no visitation and services are private.
